Rebecca (she/her/hers) is a student in the Jewish Communal Leadership Program at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She is conducting her field placement at Detroit Jews for Justice (DJJ) where she is working on the process to redesign DJJ's campaign work, grassroots fundraising, and more. Before moving to Ann Arbor, Rebecca graduated from New York University with her Bachelor's in Social Work and worked as a preschool teacher. While in New York, Rebecca became interested in exploring intersections between Judaism, justice, and resilience through her participation in the Avodah Justice Fellowship. Rebecca is passionate about making art, playing board games, and working towards a more equitable world.
