This would be a critical re-appraisal of the idea in Genesis that humans are made in the divine image and are supposed to "rule over" other species. It would open up rarely studied rabbinic texts that consider the ways in which humans are entwined with other animals and consider ethical limitations of a humancentric view of nonhuman lives.
