Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

It is a quadrennial rite in American politics – THIS YEAR, Republicans tell us, American Jews will finally wake up, see the light, and begin to vote Republican.  And, much like fans of the Detroit Lions, Republicans can hope, but that hope is unrequited.  On average, 70-75% of American Jews typically vote for Democratic presidential candidates.  Why has this pattern emerged?  Why does it continue?  Join us as we explore together some innovative survey data to address these questions, with a special focus on church-state issues, and on Israel, in exploring the puzzle of the continued liberalism of American Jews.
